Water Car Conversion
Is it hard to believe that you can actually make your car run on water? There are devices out there that claim to run cars off of water that is supplemental to the gasoline used in the car in order to improve a vehicle’s fuel efficiency and lower the total fuel costs. It apparently works on cars, trucks, SUVs and vans that run on diesel or gas. It hasn’t been tested on hybrid vehicles yet. Claims of water car conversion include a forty percent higher gas mileage and cleaner fuel emissions. Many of the water car conversion devices work well on normal tap water and don’t need specialized filtered or treated water.
The basis of water car conversion involves using electricity generated from the automobile’s battery that turns water into a gas known as HHO. It’s also called Brown’s gas or sometimes called Hydroxy, and it smoothly burns providing energy to the vehicle in the form of hydrogen gas. The byproduct of this process is just H2O or just plain water.
Those selling conversion kits to convert to water cars say the technology has been proven and that only a little bit of water is required to make the process work. One kit states that only a quart of water produces more than 1800 gallons of HHO gas at room temperature which lasts for many months at a time. It is supposed to improve the automobile’s fuel efficiency by forty to fifty percent. It also doesn’t nullify car warranties. In water car conversion kits, the HHO gas is supposed to be more than three times as powerful as gas. It can save money to the tune of many thousands of dollars you would otherwise pay in high gas prices.
The technology behind conversion to water car was initially designed for use in welding factories. The technology was designed to replace acetylene torching of objects. The man who filed the patent for water car conversion is Denny Klein, a man who converted a Ford Escort to run on a combination of water and gasoline or even on water fuel alone. In its use as a welding device, the tip of the device remains cool, however the torch can burn through metal, including tungsten. According to its inventor, the car runs on HHO gas, converted from H2O, burning the hydrogen gas as fuel and leaving the byproduct of H20. The inventor states that this technology has the atomic power of pure hydrogen but with the chemical stability of plain water.
